One of the men charged with an armed home invasion was remanded in custody to a post-committal conference in December, at a brief appearance in Christchurch District Court today.
Defence counsel Tony Garrett said one charge was to be replaced at his next appearance.
Judge David Holderness remanded James Carpenter, a 30-year-old Aranui labourer, in custody to November 1, to be followed by a post-committal conference set for December 21.
Carpenter had been charged with robbing a woman of her cellphone, wallet, and keys, unlawful possession of a shotgun, using a firearm against a police officer, and having a shotgun while committing an armed robbery, after the incident in Northcote Rd, Redwood on October 2.
