Two Australian visitors inspected a new wall of art in central Christchurch by Australian artist Ash Keating.
The concrete wall has exploded into colour as a piece of art.
Melbourne-based Keating created Concrete Propositions by throwing, spraying and firing paint from buckets, weed sprayers and fire extinguishers onto a wall exposed by demolition on the Manchester St side of the Cathedral Junction building.
The project is a joint initiative by the Christchurch Art Gallery and Gap Filler.
Keating was the artist in residence at the Arts Centre when the September 4, 2010 earthquake happened.
Christchurch Art Gallery director Jenny Harper said Keating's work promoted creative ways of "greening" the gap-filled central city.
"We hope that this work will provide a welcome injection of energy and colour into the streetscape."
