One person was trapped after a collision in central Christchurch this afternoon.
Two cars collided on Manchester St, between Aberdeen and Salisbury streets, about 2pm.
A police spokesman said one person was trapped, but had been freed.
St John ambulance took three people to hospital with moderate injuries.
