A woman returning from the Nelson A&P Show to Blenheim has been injured in a car crash on the Rai Saddle.
The 76-year-old woman was a passenger in the vehicle which left the road, hitting a bank.
She was treated at the scene by the Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter's on board St John Intensive Care Paramedic, assisted by St John Ambulance from Havelock.
The helicopter flew her to Wairau Hospital in Blenheim at 3.45pm.
Three other people in the vehicle were uninjured. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
