Lincoln Rd SuperValue reopens
The Lincoln Rd SuperValue has reopened after being closed two weeks ago for earthquake strengthening.
While previous inspections had given the store the green light following the earthquakes, follow-up inspections identified some areas of the store which needed attention.
The store shut two weeks ago.
The strengthening work on the store has now been completed and it reopened this afternoon.
The building has been assessed by the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (Cera) and the landlord's engineers as safe.
