Cyclist injured after collision in Cashmere
A cyclist was taken to hospital with moderate injuries after colliding with a car in Cashmere.
A Fire Service spokesman said the accident happened near the intersection of Cashmere and Hoon Hay roads about 11.15am.
A St John spokesman said the 55-year-old female cyclist was taken to Christchurch Hospital with moderate injuries.
A police spokesman said charges may be laid in relation to the accident but it was too early to say who was at fault, as police were still investigating and speaking to witnesses.
