Motorcyclist crashes near Duvauchelle
A 67-year-old man is in a "comfortable" condition after a serious crash last night.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to Christchurch Hospital after crashing on the Christchurch-Akaroa Rd.
A police spokesman said the man came off the road and hit a fence near Duvauchelle just before 7.30pm.
He was conscious at the scene but was taken to hospital by the Westpac rescue helicopter.
A Christchurch Hospital spokeswoman confirmed this morning the man was now in a "comfortable condition".
