Christchurch motorists are being warned to expect detours and disruption in Lincoln Rd and in Papanui because of pipe repairs.
The Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team said drivers should be prepared for delays for up to two weeks.
The Curletts Rd-Lincoln Rd intersection will have delays because of wastewater and stormwater work by City Care.
Hoon Hay Rd is reduced to northbound traffic only between Mathers Rd and LincolnRd-Halswell Rd.
A detour is in place for motorists wanting to travel south along Hoon Hay Rd. This detour uses Tankerville Rd and Mathers Rd.
Downer is rebuilding the wastewater network around the Merivale Mall, and motorists heading towards the mall via Papanui Rd should use Rugby St or Office Rd.
Work in Aikmans Rd east of Akela St is almost finished, and the middle section of the block closer to Papanui Rd has started.
This removes access to the mall from Aikmans Rd.
Drivers coming from town towards the mall can turn left on to Office Rd to get to the mall car park, as normal.
