Six Canterbury children have escaped injury after their school bus and a freight truck collided near Culverden.

A police spokesman said they were informed of the crash, in Broxton Rd about two kilometres south of Pyramid Valley Rd, about 3.50pm today.

He said there were no injuries to the six children on the bus or to either driver, with emergency services stood down shortly after being called out.

Police would investigate the cause of the crash, he said.
