Traffic will be restricted along Moorhouse Ave at the Manchester St intersection for the next two weeks.
A Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team (Scirt) spokeswoman said the intersection was being restricted for safety reasons.
Drivers wanting to get into Manchester St can take the left-hand bypass lane, going east, alongside the Moorhouse Ave overbridge.
Access to Pilgrim Place opposite Manchester St will also be restricted.
The restrictions are due to ongoing Scirt repairs to a brick barrel wastewater pipe along Moorhouse Avenue. Work began in the middle of January and was expected to be finished by the end of February.
Further details can be found on Scirt's website.
