Emergency sewer repair work will force the closure of Clifton Tce from 9am to 2.30pm on Thursday.
Mark Christison, city water and waste unit manager said the sewer repairs were urgent. The work would also prevent any damage to the retaining walls that run parallel to Clifton Tce.
''It is essential that we carry out these repairs on Thursday to ensure that Clifton Tce remains open and safe from further closure in the future."
An electronic sign would warn users of the closure. Emergency access plans and provisions have been put in place.
