More than 2000 people have given feedback on the possible future of Canterbury's health system.
The Press was given a tour of the Canterbury District Health Board's (CDHB) Health Showcase in Christchurch yesterday.
The showcase gives health professionals and the public a chance to look at and contribute to what the region's health system could be like in the future.
The Government is expected to report back on plans for a $600 million redevelopment of Christchurch and Burwood hospitals this month. Work could begin on Burwood Hospital by mid year.
CDHB business development unit manager Richard Hamilton said more than 2000 people had been on the tour since it opened in January.
The showcase is open at Print Pl, Middleton, until March 15. Bookings for public tour groups of 10 people can be made online at showcase.phuserver.org.nz.
