A woman who fell from a vehicle in Halswell Junction Rd has died from her injuries.
Libby Francis McKay, 27, of Christchurch had been in a critical condition with serious head injuries in Christchurch Hospital since the accident on June 9.
The accident happened about 1.45am.
Police previously said the driver of the vehicle, who is the woman's partner, had been spoken to and is assisting police.
The vehicle was travelling about 70kmh, the legal speed limit for the road.
A police statement today said inquiries into McKay's death are continuing and no further information was available.
