Police set up cordons in Bishopdale this morning after a family dispute.

Police cordoned off parts of the Highsted Rd area, near Bishopdale, while they make contact with a man at an address who "had been involved in a family dispute".

Police said the dispute had been resolved. 

They had spoken to a man at the address and one young man was taken to hospital for a check-up, but no-one was injured.
