Christchurch tickets strike it lucky

Two lottery tickets purchased in Christchurch took out major prizes in last night's Lotto draw. 

A ticket bought at Lotto and Wild Thingz in Christchurch was one of four that struck First Divison, winning $250,000. 

The other winning tickets were sold at Fix Fort Street in Auckland, Te Aroha Supermarket, and Whitcoulls Invercargill.

Strike was also won by a lucky player in Christchurch, who has won $181,323. The winning ticket was sold at Fresh Choice Barrington.

Powerball was not struck and has jackpotted to $7.5 million.
