A Christchurch boy injured after falling from a deck is among several incidents keeping rescue crews busy in Marlborough today.
The six-year-old boy suffered head injuries in the accident at a bach in Moetapu Bay, near Havelock, today.
A Nelson-Marlborough Rescue Helicopter spokesperson said the boy was on holiday from Christchurch when he fell from the deck of a bach.
He was flown to Wairau Hospital's emergency department for further assessment.
The incident followed shortly after two separate call-outs for the rescue helicopter crew in Marlborough today.
In the first incident, a 73-year-old man was found lying on the ground outside for an unknown amount of time after a fall near Portage Lodge in Kenepuru sound.
The man was treated and stabilised at the scene by helicopter crew medics, before being flown to Nelson Hospital for further treatment.
The crew was called back to Kenepuru Sound soon after after when a male tourist was found following a car crash.
The man's car had rolled down a small embankment at Waitaria Bay.
He was to Wairau Hospital with leg and abdominal injuries.
