The 19-year-old is in New Zealand on a working holiday and was planning to head to Blenheim with a friend to find vineyard work.

On Thursday evening his personal belongings were stolen from his room at the Tombstone Backpackers in Picton.

He is now without his passport, credit cards, driver's licence as well as personal items such as his contact lenses and a dental retainer.

Anyone with information regarding this theft is asked to contact the Picton Police Station on 03 5203120.
