A teenage boy was flown to hospital this morning after the car he was in left the road and rolled south west of Nelson.
The 15-year-old was travelling in the Tui/Tadmor area, south west of Tapawera, when the vehicle crashed.
He was flown to Nelson Hospital by rescue helicopter at 3am.
The female driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital by a St John Ambulance road ambulance crew.
