Demolition of historic building nears completion
The demolition of Manchester Courts is nearly complete, its owner says.
Workers started demolishing the 104-year-old heritage building in October and were meant to take six weeks.
Building owner Richard Peebles said the demolition company finished its off-site work last week.
He did not know when the demolition workers would finish, but believed the remaining work could take up to six weeks.
Peebles had already developed new plans for the site, and would spend several months "getting it all together" while work continued on the site.
