The Fifa World Cup trophy is coming to New Zealand.
It has been announced today that the trophy will be brought to New Zealand on April 27 for one day.
World football’s greatest prize is set to visit New Zealand as part of a global tour that has already visited 50 African nations and is now continuing its five-continent journey to another 33 countries around the world.
The tour, which began its journey from the Fifa headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland on September 21, 2009 will visit 84 countries and travel more than 138,902 kilometres or more than three times the circumference of the earth.
