Canterbury teams won three of the four titles at the annual southern representative quadrangular tournament at Timaru.
Only the men's senior team, who lost on differential to Dunedin, failed to win the overall competition against South Canterbury, North Otago and Dunedin and the representative season looks promising for Canterbury Bowls.
Sandra Keith continued on her winning way with three good victories for the Canterbury senior women, while Bev Morel and Lois Grey were unbeaten in the pairs.
In the men's senior team, New Zealand representative Andrew Kelly won his three games and a strong four of Paul Matheson, Roger Glendinning, Shane Sincock, with Kelvin Scott skipping, had three comprehensive wins.
The standout performance in the talent development competition was Canterbury women's singles exponent Katelyn Inch, who won her three games comfortably.
The women's four of Donelda Scott, Bonnie Hawker, Joss Scott and late replacement Pauline Smith were also undefeated in their first tournament together.
