The Australian raiders will be on the hunt for more spoils as the Show Jumping Canterbury Three Star Championship gets under way today at the National Equestrian Centre in McLeans Island.
After their success at the National Show Jumping Championships a week ago, NZ senior horse champion Billy Raymont and Kiwi-bred Thoroughbred Stardom head the Australian lineup.
Raymont is one of eight starters. He will be joined by fellow Australians James Arkins on Dreamtime Invader, Sarah Isbister on Little Britton, Rory Hovell on Val D'Isere, and Alison Rowland on Bickley Brook Bianca.
Local hopes will rest with Ross Smith (Burnham) and Quite Cassini, a world cup round winner this season, and Mosgiel's Claudia Hay and Euro Sport Heartbreaker.
