A double from Danny Boys has helped Cashmere Technical beat Ferrymead Bays in their Chatham Cup clash today.

Boys scored either side of halftime to help his side progress to the fourth round and become the only Christchurch team to make the last 16 of the competition.

Boys scored from the penalty spot in the first half and from a corner in the second.

The only other Mainland Football teams left in the competition, Waimak United and Nelson College, meet tomorrow in Nelson for a spot in the fourth round.

Waimak United beat Selwyn United 3-0 in the first round then had a bye through the second after Universities were disqualified for playing an unregistered player.

Nelson College are the last remaining schoolboy team, in the competition and have had a pair of 1-0 wins to thank for reaching this far.
