The porn actress wife of Gold Coast Titans chief executive David May has a new starring role - fitness trainer for the NRL club's under-20s squad.

Revelations that Kortney Olson, an American-born adult movie star and body builder, has been prepping the Titans' junior sides since last month were published in Australian media outlets today, alongside a defiant response by May.

He told News Limited he was aware of his wife's pornographic work and proud of how the 31-year-old had overcome a chequered past with drugs and alcohol.

"She is my wife and she is a beautiful human being. I'm proud of her and I'm not going to shy away from that," May told The Gold Coast Bulletin.

"I'm very proud of the fact that by committing herself to a program she in now clean-living.

"Other people can judge me, the shareholders, the board, the fans. I'm proud to stand by my wife and I always will," the 44-year-old Englishman said.

However, some Titans staff members are reportedly unhappy with Olson's involvement given her presence on a variety of "adults only" websites.

In one interview with a fitness website, Olson confirms "making fetish videos" and claims her "bisexual side ... puts a lot of stress on a person's relationship".

Her Youtube page includes a spoof video, uploaded this year, in which she gives a demonstration of ''how to dominate a man in the bedroom" and adds: "They hate knowing that we could really kill them if we got carried away."

Some photos show her simulating sexual acts with fellow female body builders and in 2010 she admitted during an interview with Sex and Muscle that she had made lesbian porn films.

The explicit content appears to be a major breach of the NRL's code of conduct, particularly sections 12 and 14, which relate to upholding the image of the NRL and public confidence in its brand.

Known as "KO" on various internet sites, Olson is a qualified personal trainer who runs the health and fitness website konfidencebykortney.com.
