Strong demand has led Random House to reprint Theresa Gattung's book Bird on a Wire less a week after the book went on sale.

Publicist Sarah Thornton says 4000 copies went into bookstores this month and the book is No2 on the adult non-fiction bestseller list. Random House has decided to publish the book in Australia by early May. Wellington saleswoman Dianne Thompson, left, pictured with Ms Gattung, was one of the first to buy a copy, at Whitcoulls in Courtenay Pl.

Ms Thompson says she has since read a couple of chapters. "For such a young woman when she started she has certainly done a lot and understands how businesses works.

"I think she has a lot to offer other women. I don't have my own business yet, but one day I would love to and I find how she has achieved things is great. Whatever road she has taken, she has come out the right end of it."
