Activision has announced players will be able to live stream any League Play multiplayer match of Call of Duty: Black Ops II on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC over YouTube.

Players will also be able to commentate and use their webcam in real-time. The stream will be available via web browsers on PCs, and via Call of Duty Elite, which will be free with Black Ops II.

In the initial press release, Activision did not include PC in the platforms the service would be coming to, however, the publisher has confirmed to Gameplanet that live streaming will also be available on that platform.

Treyarch boss Mark Lamia said this functionality is part of Call of Duty's drive towards greater eSport functionality.

"With our competitive play and eSports initiatives, we wanted to deliver live streaming capabilities built right into Call of Duty: Black Ops II, because Call of Duty is not only fun and exciting to play, but we believe it will be just as exciting to watch."

Call of Duty: Black Ops II is released on Xbox 360, PC, and PlayStation 3 tomorrow.
