Eye of Judgement
For: PlayStation 3
From: Sony
Classification: PG
Score: three and a half stars
Eye of Judgement is a card-based game that uses technology to bring mythical characters to life, thanks to Sony's new camera for its PlayStation 3.
You set the PlayStation Eye camera up on the supplied stand overlooking a cloth map that is divided into a 3 3 grid.
You then place the cards onto the grid and the camera translates the markings into 3D monsters and characters.
Players take turns to defeat either a live player or the computer, playing cards and building up their mana.
Eye of Judgement comes with a starter pack of 30 cards, but you'll have to buy new cards to bolster your collection.
I initially got confused playing Eye of Judgement, but I suspect people who are familiar with games like Yu Gi Oh will pick things up much quicker than I did.
Eye of Judgement will appeal mainly to gamers who like all things dungeon and dragons.
