Five Timaru Boys High School year 13 students last night beat 627 teams to scoop the Todd Foundation's Young Enterprise Award in Wellington.

Their scheme to sell black wrist bands in support of the All Blacks was recognised as the best sales and marketing idea, despite the All Blacks being beaten by France in the quarter-finals.

Students Phillip Watson, Thomas Mitchell, Sam Naylor, Nic Dobbs and Ben Smart traded under the name of StudiCom Solutions.
