Giuliana and Bill Rancic have welcomed their first child into the world.
The couple's son Edward Duke Rancic was born in Denver last night via a surrogate. Bill took to his Twitter page today to announce their happy news.
"The "Duke" has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz," he gushed on the social networking site. "G & I feel blessed beyond words...We did it! (sic)."
After struggles with fertility and a breast cancer battle for Giuliana, the couple decided to enlist a surrogate to help them become parents.
Earlier this year the pair revealed that they were expecting a little boy, and were excited about the prospect of starting a family.
"Our journey has a happy ending," Bill said. "We didn't give up, we didn't quit and we're going to have a good ending to this."
Giuliana and Bill announced their new arrival would soon be making an appearance via Twitter late last night.
"It's Game Time...... (sic)," Bill wrote, before Giuliana posted to fans: "U all will be 1st to know (sic)," she wrote.
