MTV kicks off summer with a big party in Sydney and we're giving you the chance to be part of it and dance your socks off!

MTV is set to heat things up at this year's MTV Summer event with performances by break-through artist Havana Brown, French DJ Martin Solveig and DJ darling Alison Wonderland plus more exciting acts to be announced.

Brown has paved the way for female DJs in Australia, being the first to sign a major label recording deal with Universal Music, and touring with the likes of the Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears.

Stepping out from behind the DJ decks in 2011 her hit We Run The Night reached platinum success in the US, and clocked up 1 million sales worldwide.

Solveig's set will be a special treat for house fans. He's one of the most respected DJs and producers in the world, having broken into the mainstream with his tune Hello.

This year alone, Solveig made his debut appearance at Coachella, was the House DJ at the MTV Movie Awards, and produced six tracks for Madonna's latest album; M.D.N.A.

Joining the party lis MTV favourite, Alison Wonderland who rose to prominence in EMI's She Can DJ project.
