Nicole Kidman wants another baby, while Victoria Beckham is not happy in grey, damp London, the gossip mags report this week.

But it is the death of Sir Paul Holmes that dominates the New Zealand Woman's Weekly and Woman's Day. Both have wraparound sections celebrating the broadcaster's life and achievements.

New Idea highlights the latest Beckham development. "Lonely Victoria goes into hiding," it says.

The 38-year-old former Spice Girl, mother-of-four and fashion designer had become a recluse since the family relocated from sunny Los Angeles to snowy London a month ago.

One friend said she was reacting to all the change in her life.

"Their Beverly Hills house was beautiful with amazing views, always sunny and warm and secluded," a friend is quoted as saying in magazine Closer.

The decision by her husband David Beckham, 37, to sign a five-month contract with French football club Paris St Germain was just adding to the pressure.

Both New Idea and Woman's Day report on an uncharacteristically enthusiastic reunion between Kidman and husband Keith Urban, both 45, at Sydney Airport.

Sources explained the reason behind the romance was that the couple were still hoping to conceive.

They are already parents to two girls, four-year-old Sunday Rose and two-year-old Faith Margaret.

"Even though Faith was conceived by a surrogate, they've never stopped trying for another baby by natural means," a source told Woman's Day.

Friends were speculating about whether the couple would use a gestational carrier again to have a third child together. It was an open secret among friends that Urban would love a son.

New Idea noted that Kidman told Red magazine that although becoming a mum again at her age seemed unlikely: "My grandmother had her last baby at 49, so you never know."

New Idea's coverage included a picture of actor Russell Crowe holding Faith at the airport. It contrasted Urban and Kidman's warm embrace with the fact Crowe was by himself at the airport.

He "seemed the loneliest man in the world", with the lack of any loved ones to greet him on his return "a poignant reminder of his split from wife Danielle Spencer last year".

Also in Woman's Day, Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence, 22, is reported to be under siege from the sexiest single men in show business, after she recently split from her long time boyfriend.

According to the magazine Twilight star Robert Pattinson is the top contender, even though New Idea reports Pattinson and co-star Kristen Stewart are still going strong, despite Stewart being alone in Los Angeles while Pattinson works in Australia.

New Zealand Woman's Weekly reports on the debt Hollywood actor and director Ben Affleck, 40, owes to his wife of eight years Jennifer Garner, also 40.

Affleck had been recovering from a gambling addiction, with his career at an all-time low following a series of critically panned movies, when he started dating Garner who co-starred with him on Daredevil.

Despite their work commitments, and three young children, they were one of Hollywood's most loved-up couples, the Weekly reported.

In a recent interview Affleck said: "There are two things for a marriage to be good. One is to work hard on it. the other one is to marry above you. And I succeeded at both of those."
