Every week TV Guide editor Julie Eley gives us the low-down on what’s hot and what’s not in the TV world.

Fringe creators, JJ Abrams and JH Wyman, have been given a fresh order from the Fox Network for a new, as yet untitled, sci-fi drama.

Fox made the pilot order as soon as the series finale of Fringe aired, for a cop show set in Los Angeles in the near future, when all LAPD officers are partnered with human-like androids. Oh, yeah - guess which one will be programmed to take the bullet!

Former Scrubs star, Sarah Chalke, has traded in one set of scrubs for another by heading off for a role in Grey's Anatomy later this season, but it's unknown if she'll be a doctor or a patient as her character is under wraps.

The busy actress also recently played Stella on How I Met Your Mother and has her own new sitcom in the works, How To Live With Your Parents. Maybe that will be where she ends up if the Grey's Anatomy gig doesn't work out.

Well, there can't be many people who have embraced the news of their impending death with the spirit shown by Game of Thrones actor, Wilko Johnson.

The 65-year-old, who plays Ser Ilyn Payne in the drama, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer, but says the news has given him "an elation of spirit," adding: "You're walking along and suddenly you're vividly alive. I've spent most of my life moping in depressions and things, but this has all lifted." Yeah - life's a b*tch and then you die.

Fans of the long-running US comedy, The Entourage, will be rejoicing at the news that the show is being prepared for a big-screen comeback.

Warner Bros (that's right, The Hobbit guys) confirmed it has finally given the green light to a motion picture follow-up to the hit HBO series, which wrapped its eight-season run in 2011. All the lead characters, including Jeremy Piven and Kevin Connelly, are expected to return. Well, why wouldn't they?

Lipstick Jungle star, Brooke Shields, has joined the US Air Force! Well, not really, but you guessed that, didn't you? Brooke is set to don an Air Force uniform for a recurring guest role in the seventh season of the drama Army Wives.

She will play Colonel Katherine "Kat" Young, a C-17 pilot who finds herself at odds with army General Michael Holden, played by Brian McNamara. The Air Force versus the Army - gee, we wonder who'll win that one!
