Kim Kardashian's baby joy isn't for everyone.

Her ex, Kris Humphries, refuses to speed up their divorce, saying her "unplanned pregnancy" is her problem, not his.

Kardashian married basketball player Humphries in a lavish wedding in August 2011 and then filed for divorce just 72 days later.

She is now in a relationship with rapper Kanye West and they are expecting their first child together.

TMZ reports that Kris will not hurry the annulment process in light of her new child.

"What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something [Humphries] had nothing to do with, is perceived by [Kim] as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial," said Humphries' lawyer Marshall Waller.

"Indeed, why would [Kim] plan to get pregnant in the midst of divorce proceedings?"

Humphries is also requesting that he be present at Kim's upcoming deposition, but claims that due to professional obligations he is only available from mid-May.

According to TMZ, officials believe that the magistrate overseeing the divorce is getting impatient.

Due to the nature of this drawn-out case, it is thought that the judge will set the divorce trial for March, whether or not Humphries can attend depositions.
