Opihi College head students have been selected after going through a rigorous application process.

Candidates write letters of application to stand, address the school and prepare a brief presentation about their skills, attributes and their vision for the school. Year 7 to year 12 students and staff vote.

A shortlist is drawn up and candidates are interviewed by a panel made up of representatives from senior leadership team, deans and a board of trustee member as well as the principal.
