Lights, camera, sand - action!
We asked readers to tell us about something they've done this summer. Prea Millar shared this story about a performing arts school.
Children from Boheme Entertainment Theatre Machine perfoming arts summer school took a well-earned break at the beach before heading to do their last show.
They ranged from 8 to 18 in age and worked on a show consisting of singing, dancing, music and acting and at the end of the week performed a catchy play.
Most of them didn't know each other and some of them came from other summer schools. The summer school is a great way of learning about the creative arts and boosting confidence.
The children loved their week of fun and new friends that they decided to have a get together at the beach where they did everything from digging huge mud holes to jumping off the jetty.
