Rock On: The Theatre Royal will be pumping as the top youth bands in Timaru play off in the regional final of Smokefreerockquest 2014. Start time 7pm, tickets $10 for school students and $20 for adults from NZTix.co.nz or at the door.
Art: The annual Plunket Art Show is on until Sunday at Aigantighe Art Gallery, 49 Wai-iti Rd, Timaru. Featuring artists from right around New Zealand. This exhibition is the second biggest fundraiser for Plunket outside the national appeal, with all funds raised going to the Timaru branch of Plunket.
Art: York Street Gallery is hosting the Moving Mackenzie exhibition with Rosemary Campbell from today until July 13. Open 11am till 3pm.
Art: Postcards from the trenches is an exhibition of the work by Sue Connolly is on at the Arthur Street Kitchen, 8 Arthur St, Timaru until June 28. All works are for sale.
