Timaru has another high pollution day
Timaru has experienced its 21st day of high PM10 this year.
The health guideline was exceeded on Saturday with a 24-hour average concentration of 55 micrograms of suspended particulate per cubic metre of air, measured in Anzac Square, while 23 was measured at the monitoring site in Washdyke.
Timaru has had 15 high pollution days this month, the last eight occuring since June 20.
