Lawyer held up by weather woes
Fog this morning has delayed flights in and out of Timaru and also a court sentencing.
The morning's flight to the capital was due to leave Timaru for Wellington at 6.50.
However it was delayed by just under two hours and took off at 8.45am.
The late morning flight due to arrive into Timaru at 10.35 was delayed by an hour and a half and arrived at 12.05pm.
The defence counsel for the sentencing of Daniel Smith for the manslaughter for Oamaru youth William Lewis was on the later flight, causing a disruption to proceeding's.
