Finally no more muffin top - that unsightly roll of fat hanging over your waistband.
The new "tummy tuck" jeans phenomenon hit Timaru last night with a private fitting held to introduce women to the new "revolutionary" jean.
Professional fitter and sales consultant for NYDJ (Not Your Daughter's Jeans) Josephine Dickins was instore at Miss Timaru presenting and correctly fitting the new jeans to 20 of the store's top shoppers.
The NYDJ jeans have fast become a worldwide phenomenon for "real women with real curves", with sales of more than 40,000 pairs each week.
They have even appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, but only recently became available in New Zealand.
The jeans are touted as empowering women by addressing the tummy a "problem area" encountered across all body types, ages and ethnicities.
The patented "tummy tuck" technology is designed to slim the lower abdomen, contour the hips and lift the buttocks without feeling tight or restrictive.
