These are the incidents dealt with by Timaru police over the weekend.
SATURDAY
The owner of a blue Nissan Primera which was unlawfully taken from outside the ANZ Bank in Temuka found it parked on Hally Tce. Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw the vehicle YU 8704, between 10.30pm on Friday and 4.30am Saturday.
A leather handbag was stolen from an unlocked staffroom at Timaru Hospital around noon.
A window was forced to gain entry to a garage in Edwards St overnight Friday. Goods taken included a cellphone, Bushmans beer, two bottles of Jim Beam bourbon, a bottle of rum and RTDs.
A 17-year-old Timaru youth was charged with disorderly behaviour after allegedly kicking over a fence in MacDonald St.
A vehicle was entered in Geraldine and a wallet and horse halter taken.
A pair of skate shoes were stolen from Century Pool.
Two Timaru men, aged 21 and 19, were charged with breaching the liquor ban in separate incidents. Warnings were issued to a 19-year-old Timaru man and 17-year-old Temuka youth.
YESTERDAY
A 28-year-old Timaru man was taken in for detoxification after being found comatose in Canon St.
Two Timaru men, aged 18 and 20, were charged with fighting in a public place.
An 18-year-old Timaru youth was charged with possession of utensils and cannabis after his vehicle was stopped on Wai iti Rd.
A 21-year-old Temuka man arrested for assault was also charged with possession of cannabis.
