Shipley tipped for ECan post

Former Prime Minister Jenny Shipley has been linked to an Environment Canterbury commissioner role.
An ECan review by Dame Jenny's former deputy, Wyatt Creech, last month recommended elected councillors be replaced by commissioners, and a separate water-management authority created.
Environment Minister Nick Smith said reports linking Dame Jenny to a commissioner's role were "premature speculation".
Dame Jenny refused to comment last night.
