Rhonda Renata believes Gardasil killed her daughter.
Jasmine, 18, died in her sleep on September 22 in Upper Hutt, six months after she had received the last of the three injections of the cervical cancer vaccine.
"My daughter Jasmine, right up until she began the cervical cancer vaccine, had a very normal, cheerful and happy 18 years," Ms Renata said.
"She never had any underlying or serious health issues and was up to date with all other immunisations.
"After her very first shot of Gardasil in September 2008, she had warts developing on her hands at an incredible rate and her doctor froze them off in October 2008.
"In November 2008 she had her second shot of Gardasil. The warts on her hands returned and she had her doctor once again freeze them off at the end of January 2009."
In March 2009 she had her third and final shot of Gardasil.
"Right from the first shot, as I recall my daughter's last year, she had complained of all kinds of ailments but they were not serious enough to rush to the doctor's as they would disappear as fast as they came on."
The "ailments" ranged from headaches, weak arms and legs with pins and needles in hands to abdominal and chest pains and her heart racing for no reason.
The grieving mum is now left waiting for answers from the coroner.
Timaru mother Julie Smith started the website, www.offtheradar.co.nz, out of concern about the vaccine as she researched it as her 10-year-old daughter approaches the age of vaccination. She has called on other parents to make their concerns known, with the above comments from Ms Renata featuring on the site.
"The site was born out of the frustration of a parent who wished to make an informed decision about Gardasil for their daughter, and the difficulty they incurred in not being told the complete story about the vaccine by the Ministry of Health and medical establishment," Mrs Smith said.
"The Ministry of Health is reporting the vaccine is safe, but they are using the drug companies' trial data. I am just a mum who started looking into it ... I think people need to be given the full facts."
