Timaru police are still seeking the public's help in building a clearer picture of events leading up to Shane Braddick's death in the early hours of May 11.
A team of 17 investigators had been working fulltime on the case, Detective Sergeant Dylan Murray said yesterday.
An investigation was launched after Mr Braddick's body was discovered on York St in the early hours of the morning. A phone call alerted St John staff but attempts by paramedics to resuscitate him failed.
A 25-year-old man appeared in court the following day charged with his murder.
Investigators are interested in anyone who has information about the movements that morning of either Mr Braddick or of Johnny Holman, the man charged with his murder.
