A Timaru woman was caught drink-driving, more than twice the legal limit, and with a 2-year-old child in the car.

She was one of 10 drink-drivers who appeared in Timaru District Court yesterday before Judge C P Somerville.

Kathy Marie Davidson, 36, blew 921mcg when she was processed for drink-driving. The child was also found to not be in the correct booster seat.

Davidson was remanded to August 9 for sentencing.

Duncan Bruce Anderson, 56, of Rangitata; 812mcg, driving while disqualified – remanded to August 9 for sentencing.

Christopher James Phillips, 42, of Ashburton; 993mcg, driving while disqualified – remanded to August 9 for sentencing.

Rachel Jane Alexander, 39; 893mcg – fined $900, disqualified for six months.

Chad Thomas Boyack, 19, possum hunter, of Taihape; 807mcg – fined $800, disqualified for six months.

John Duncan MacLennan, 63, of Twizel; 977mcg, driving while disqualified – 120 hours community work, 12 months supervision, disqualified for 12 months.

Wayne Leslie Stringer, 56, of Oamaru; 655mcg – remanded to August 9 for sentencing.

Olivia Louise Lewis, 18, hairdresser, of Temuka; 363mcg – fined $350, disqualified for six months.

Martin James Cornish, 61, of Queenstown; 616mcg – fined $600, disqualified for 12 months.

Fagan Louise Cox, 20, hairdresser; 734mcg – fined $750, disqualified for six months.Other matters:

 Nathan Richard Ayto, 39; careless driving – fined $300.

Miniana Aroha Lyn Raroa, 21, of Waimate; driving while suspended – 60 hours community work, disqualified from driving for six months.

Stefan Hendricks Barron, 18 meatworker, driving while suspended – fined $500, disqualified for six months.

Brandon Lee Farr-Wilson, 19; unlawfully taking a motor vehicle – 100 hours community work, disqualified for three months.

Cory James Shelton, 21; intentional damage – convicted and discharged.
