A Washdyke man is offering a $1000 reward for information leading to the prosecution of whoever is responsible for taking his Suzuki quadbike.
Sean Sloper said the the quadbike, valued at about $6000, disappeared from a garage on his Racecourse Rd property last weekend, probably on Saturday night.
Whoever took it "pushed it through our yard quite a long way," about 400 metres, he said.
They apparently crossed a neighbour's property and took the quadbike out via Laughton St.
The garage was in "quite a secure area", and this was the first time he had had anything stolen.
