One South Canterbury road remains closed following this week's heavy rainfall.
Cleland Rd, near Cave, was still closed to traffic this morning as work to clear a slip continues.
The landslip, which occurred on Wednesday, blocked both lanes, but was expected to be cleared by noon today, Timaru District Council land transport manager Andrew Dixon said.
Raincliff Bridge also remains closed as a result of last week's flooding.
Mr Dixon said there did not appear to be any further damage caused to the bridge by this week's downpour.
Grassed sports fields in the Timaru district are also closed until further notice, apart from Sir Basil Arthur Park, Pleasant Point Domain and Morrison Park.
