Man failed to send goods sold online

A Trade Me seller got the ultimate bad feedback after being arrested for obtaining by deception.

Kronn Marjell Church-Davis, 22, pleaded guilty in Timaru District Court to three charges of obtaining by deception and two charges of breach of community detention.

In March, April and May, Church-Davis listed car parts for sale on Trade Me, including a motor he did not own and brake pads. He received the money but failed to send the goods.

Judge Joanna Maze sentenced him to 130 hours' community work and to pay $1530 reparation.

Thomas Alexander Rawstorn, 20, upholsterer of Dunedin; indecent act on a young person aged 15 and under - nine months' supervision.

Wayne Francis Beck, 52, of Queenstown; driving while disqualified - 100 hours' community work.

Justin Richard Burke, 25, of Timaru; receiving stolen property, supplying cannabis, burglary (two charges), theft, breach of community work (two charges), breach of community detention - one year, four months' imprisonment, to pay $4285 reparation.

Daniel John Crump, 25, labourer of Timaru; theft (two charges), assault, intentional damage, dishonestly interfered with a motor vehicle, found without reasonable excuse in a yard - 90 hours' community work, six months' supervision.

Paora Manuel, 34, driver of Pleasant Point; burglary - eight months' home detention Drink-driving Tenari Saumani, 27, engineer of Temuka; EBA 625mcg - fined $500, disqualified from driving for six months.

Philip Edwin Tweedie, 59, bar manager of Waimate; EBA 116mg - disqualified from driving for 13 months, 80 hours' community work and six months' supervision.

Lynette Judith Barker, 52, of Timaru; EBA 1094mcg, careless driving, failed to stop and ascertain injury - disqualified from driving for 13 months, 100 hours' community work, six months' supervision, to pay $250 reparation.

Karina Rose Tapp, 25, of Thames; EBA 903mcg - convicted and remanded on bail to January 17 for sentencing.

Simon William James Dalwood, 32, of Waimate; EBA 1020mcg, theft of a motor vehicle - 90 hours community work, disqualified from driving for six months.

Gerard Andrew Bubbert, 24, of Timaru; EBA 1452mcg, intentional damage, assaults' female, assault with intent to injure, breach of release conditions - six months' imprisonment, disqualified from driving for two years.
