A Trade Me seller got the ultimate bad feedback after being arrested for obtaining by deception.

Kronn Marjell Church-Davis, 22, pleaded guilty in Timaru District Court to three charges of obtaining by deception and two charges of breach of community detention.

In March, April and May, Church-Davis listed car parts for sale on Trade Me, including a motor he did not own and brake pads. He received the money but failed to send the goods.

Judge Joanna Maze sentenced him to 130 hours' community work and to pay $1530 reparation.
