SCDHB chief Chris Fleming resigns
South Canterbury District Health Board chief executive Chris Fleming has resigned.
Mr Fleming will move to Nelson early next year to take on the role of chief executive of Nelson Marlborough District Health Board.
He has been the South Canterbury District Health Board (SCDHB) chief executive for five years.
The announcement was made this morning by SCDHB chairman Murray Cleverley.
"He has capably led an organisation performing as one of the top DHBs in the country. He's had an excellent relationship with clinical leaders, has broken down silos and has united the health sector during his time in South Canterbury," Mr Cleverley said.
