A Temuka couple have admitted their roles in a P-lab.
Brian Mathew Latta, 65, pleaded guilty in the Timaru District Court yesterday to a charge of manufacturing methamphetamine and his partner, Nicola Beatrice Gardiner, 51, pleaded guilty to a charge of knowingly permitting a premises to be used for the manufacture of methamphetamine.
The matter had been set down for trial yesterday, however, both pleaded guilty to amended charges in front of Judge Joanna Maze.
The matter dated back to February 18 last year after armed offenders squad officers searched the Ormsby St home and cordoned off the area.
Along with the armed offenders squad, five patrol cars and the Timaru Fire Service arrived.
