It was standing room only as the Topp Twins entertained at the Waimate Strawberry Fare on Saturday.
The event, which has been run since 1984 to celebrate the fruit being grown in the Waimate region since the 1880s, attracted around 10,000 people, organiser Fiona Brown said.
"There were around 10,000 people, it was well attended. The Topp Twins were a standout – when they played you couldn't move."
The strawberry fair ran from 10am until 4pm at Seddon Square and Boland Park with 250 stalls and lots of strawberries.
Vanessa Kelly and Les Richardson also entertained with jazz and the Topp Twins reappeared at the Regent Theatre at 7.30pm that night, supported by Craig Smith.
